About

Photographer in an orange jacket using a camera on a tripod in a rocky, lichen-covered landscape

I was born in Mérida, Venezuela, surrounded by the Andes.

Mountains, remote terrain, and the natural world have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and they eventually became central to the way I photograph.

My work explores landscape as more than scenery.

I am drawn to water, geology, erosion, atmosphere, light, and the natural forces that continuously shape the land.

Rather than simply documenting a place, I look for images that reveal structure, texture, movement, transformation, and the visible traces of time.

Photography allows me to slow down, observe, and interpret these environments. Much of the process begins with waiting, allowing light, weather, water, and the landscape itself to determine what eventually becomes visible.

I am particularly interested in mountains, rivers, waterfalls, volcanic environments, coastlines, glacial landscapes, and other places where natural processes can be clearly felt or seen.

My photography is ultimately about the relationship between landscape, atmosphere, time, and memory, and about the quiet transformations that connect them.
